Elizabeth was born in 1794.  Elizabeth's father was Thomas Herron and her mother was Agnes Johnson. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named John, James, Thomas, Hugh, William, Samuel, Richard, Jane and Agnes.  She was the oldest of the ten children. She had two half-sisters named Margaret and Mary.  She died at the age of 22 in 1816.
