Agnes was born in 1808.  Agnes' father was Thomas Herron and her mother was Agnes Johnson. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named John, James, Thomas, Hugh, William, Samuel, Richard, Elizabeth and Jane.  She was the eighth oldest of the ten children. She had two half-sisters named Margaret and Mary.  She died at the age of 41 in 1849.
